We know several of you are interested to find out the status of your .CO pre-orders and that in some cases the process is taking longer than expected. We would like to take this opportunity to provide a status update so you will know what to expect in the coming week.
.CO Status Update
Name.com is working diligently with our .CO registry provider in an effort to allocate pre-registered .CO registrations as quickly as possible. We will insert the domains into your account, or process your refund as soon as we have complete details regarding the status of your pre-registration. The final confirmation of your successful .CO pre-registration should occur within the following week, and we will provide you with complete details as soon as they are available. We will send a follow-up email once all .CO domains have been allocated and are manageable in customer’s accounts.
Landrush orders:
The .CO registry will contact you directly regarding the status of your landrush order. Landrush auctions are scheduled to begin on August 9th. Additional details are available at http://www.coauctions.co/.
DNS management:
Some domain holders may experience an issue modifying their name servers. We believe we should be able to have this issue resolved for them no later than Friday July, 23rd.
