Hi Gang,
BIG NEWS FOR MY READERS: I’ve previously mentioned on an earlier post that my main domain investing focus is on “future trends”. My ideas inspired several other domainers to start buying future trend domains, and lure out some secretive domainers who where also doing the same, and now we have a little club of “future trend domainers”. This group of domainers can soon own the domain industry news…
The result of that interview within a few weeks was that 90% of the “future trend” domains I was seeking were picked off by new and old domain investors. Getting media coverage can be a double-edged sword. Thankfully, I already nabbed over 2000 of some of the best future trend domains available, and I’m happy to see several domainer smart enough to focus on “future trends” – because you could buy a premium domain for an OOTB price, that in three years sells for four figures or more (including five, six, and seven figures). Domain God, Frank Schilling, owns nine Hologram domains, and countless solar domains.
This has inspired me to create an email newsletter to give individual domainers the BEST domains at the lowest prices. No, these will not be future trend domains, but great domains with generic descriptive power, great for either building out or flipping to an end user.
“PREMIUM DOMAINS AT BELOW WHOLESALE PRICES – SOLD BY CATEGORIES YOU SUGGEST”
My Premium domain portfolio sales will take place through my new newsletter, NAMEPROSPECTOR™. This means that my Premium domains that aren’t future trends are being put up for sale by me, and I’m going to give them to you at prices you won’t see anywhere else. I’m going to seduce you with my low prices, and when you sign up for my newsletter, you’ll believe me when you receive it. This won’t be like any other domain newsletter you’ve ever subscribed to. It will open your eyes, allow you to buy domains so cheap you’ll wonder what I’m smoking.
The first email, however, will be random domains, since I haven’t yet polled my readers to what categories/niches of domains they would like to see. The next email will most likely be a category I pick until I get the Successclick Survey feature on board. You can be assured the majority of my domains are proven generic descriptive phrases. Some will be longtails, some will be dictionary single words, a few 3 and 4 character .coms, and some very nice build out brand domains.
You will be happy that I will not “bombard” you with more than 20 domains in my emails. I’ll probably select about 10 – 15 or less, so you can instantly ascertain if you’re interested or not. If the category of domains I present in my email Subject line don’t interest you, maybe some of my domaining tips will. In every newsletter, I will give you a tip on how I live a comfortable life, calling my own shots, and sell domains I buy OOTB and from other domainers. You don’t need a lot of money to do this.
With NameProspector, I promise to do everything to prevent you from wasting your time.
My email newsletter will be based on the following:
1) Generic Descriptive domains
2) Inexpensive pricing – including bulk purchase deals that will induce you to buy – there will be domains priced so low you can’t blink or they’ll be gone.
3) Great branding domains for prodservs.
4) All domains listed will fall into a category/niche. If the category of domains interests you, then I encourage you to take a quick look.
5) All domains sold will be listed at prices $1000 or less, and usually less. You will find many $5000+ appraised domains for less than $1000 in my newsletter.
6) First come, first served. First BIN amount confirmation emails from you will secure the purchase. You can also bid lower, and maybe I’ll consider that price. I will make it easy for you.
7) Have a Paypal account. I will be accepting Paypal payments as the main purchase vehicle to nab the domains. If you don’t have Mass Pay, include 4% Paypal fees on the price of the domain/s you’re purchasing.
All sales will be guaranteed.
You can sign up immediately for my newsletter at my blog. The signup box is pretty apparent, you can’t miss it, but just in case, it’s at the upper left side of the homepage.
MY HISTORY: I’ve spent over five years as a domain consultant helping major domain companies reach their goals, and many of them made tens of millions of dollars from my advice. Now, I’m giving my experience to you, providing even what I think will be a better service and domains, with lower prices. My honest opinion, although prejudiced, is that there’s no other domain aftermarket sales newsletter or service that will beat what I can give you directly.
SURPRISE: I’m going to announce something in my FIRST EMAIL that may make you a lot of money. I’m revealing a technique in domain investing that makes me a decent living, with little risk – and I’m going to give it to you for free. This list of sources I’m going to reveal are NOT online “word pairing, synonymous, similar, strong name addition” lists of possible domains to register based on what words you enter and then let the site do the work for you. Those systems sometimes work in certain situations (capturing longtail niches), but my process is based on using your mind and reading a lot. In other words, I’m giving you the map to treasure, you have to figure out the coordinates.
THE WAY I WENT: I started back in 2004 to start analyzing future trends in consumer and business technologies. I covered medical, energy, mechanical, home improvement, health, and several other categories that could fall under the label of “WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN TEN YEARS”.
The reason I started doing this was that by 2005, most or all of the one word “Naturals” were already bought, and being sold for millions. I hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but I wasn’t going to buy any domain name for $1 million, or even more than $10,000. I wasn’t looking to get back into domain development (I had just walked as the COO of a college portal site and email service where we’d spent over $500,000). From a few nice sales, I decided I would get into domain flipping. I wasn’t about to pay someone else for beating me in buying a killer domain name that was really reserved for an end user.
My thinking was this: “What about domain names I could create from my MAA experience in understanding generic descriptive domains that defined a variety of phrases to capture future prodservs?” (Translation: what does the public expect in terminology for a new product?)
It made more sense to me to gamble $8 a domain name, based on hours of research at scientific, medical, energy tech websites and their newsletters than it was for me pay $50k to pick up a “current trend” domain and flip it. Paying big bucks for the obvious didn’t seem like “treasure hunting” to me, especially when I had already made good money off several OOTB’s. This is just my choice in strategic domaining, and obviously doing the former has succeeded quite nicely for many domain investors who hit the drops back in the day. I wanted to feel more like “discovering” a gold mine instead of investing in one. I admit that I didn’t get all the future trend domains as OOTBs, I paid several thousand dollars for some fairly killer domains – because at the time those domains would make someone scratch their heads and say “what? why? huh”? Those domains today are worth from five to seven figures. Lots of them. In a few more years – their value will be through the roof. You can do the same thing right now.
What I did was spend hours of research delving into all these main consumer/business categories, and I learned a lot about each, in order to secure the generic domains that no other domainer was paying attention to at that time. My reward was gaining over 2000 generic domains that describe onboard technological prodservs, either already on the market, or close to be released – even within 2 – 3 years. I’m now starting to reap the rewards of this strategy.
During this time, I was getting a lot of recognition in the domain industry for some domain management systems I was developing for a major registrar, (and subsequently copied by at least five other domain registrars since that time – no names needed).
With my name being recognized more, Monte Cahn, President of Moniker.com, and host of DomainMaster Radio, asked me for an interview. I was honored, and with that responsibility and excitement of being able to say what was on my mind, I agreed to the interview in Oct. 2006 on DomainMaster radio with Monte. Research it, and listen to as many interviews on the show that you can – there’s a lot of domainers smarter than me featured on the show archives.
Anyway, I did the interview with Monte, and with his natural charm, he made me reveal what I was buying, how, and why. His sugary voice seduced me into revealing my “future tech” strategies in buying domain names at OOTB prices. The interview helped me get many new clients, but at the same time, it quickly shut the window of opportunity and the techniques I used, to buy future trend generic domains.
Within just a few months after I did the DomainMaster radio interview, I’d read a new technology article, see a great potential list of generic future trend domains, then rush to Fabulous.com to do a multi-name OOTB search. Wow. Did I get slapped in the face! I’d search up 20 new and bizarre domain names to register, and they were ALL TAKEN! How was that possible? I’d start with an adjective, like “GREEN”, and do a search with some reasonable nouns to follow in generic two word premiums… and there’s nothing available in domains OOTB with the adjective “GREEN”. What a wake-up call!
SUMMARY: (whew)
Signing up for the NameProspector™ newsletter on our site will also get you a list of 2o top sources of OOTB domain ideas in the first email. This list won’t be printed on my blog, and my newsletter will be copyrighted. You will need to be subscribed to get this list.
We are basing our newsletter on the following topics and services:
1) Featuring 5 – 20 single premium category domains. Most of our domains for sale will be in the .com, but we’ll have some premium .net and .org domains. Most of the domains will be priced under $1000, average price $300.
2) Successclick has always embraced the “bulk sale” discount benefit when buying and selling domains. We’re dedicated to presenting this same option to our buyers. We’re excited about getting our bulk sale premium domains out to our readers, and now we’ve got the tool to make that easy. If you want to buy more than two domains at a time, email me and we can swing a good deal for you.
The purpose of this blog is to invite every domainer who knows me, who wants to know me, and if you like me or hate me, sign up for my “NameProspector™” weekly newsletter. Here’s why it’s going to be a rampage on domain buying:
• I’m focusing totally on my future trend domains, but I own about 1200 or more current generic keyword domains, mostly in .coms, but a few .nets and .orgs. These are FILTERED domains, 98% of them owned for more than two years. This means I’ve studied them, and decided to invest in renewing them again, sometimes for more than five years.
Time to bring it, and you can have it brought right to you by NameProspector™ email. If you’re looking for generic descriptive niche domains for less than wholesale pricing, I think you will be very interested in seeing what I will send you each week in the newsletter. I hope everyone signs up TODAY just to see if I can walk the talk.
Cheers!
