NameAction visited Colombia to monitor the domain registration process in Colombia. Juan Diego Calle (General Manager), Eduardo Santoyo (Vice President of Corporate Affairs) and Nicolai Bezsonoff (Vice President of Operations) Nic Colombia graciously receive and respond our questions.
1 .- How many new domains have been registered since the opening of the first stage of domains. Com.co expect and how to register domains in the first year?
Since it opened the first stage of the domains. Com.co 4,000 domains have been registered.
2 .- How was registration process at this early stage?
We believe it was very good, the rise of the 3rd domains. Level was pleasantly surprised by the number of registered domains. Furthermore there was lack of several registrars of the nine accredited participated only three.
3 .- Is it possible to know the percentage of domains that were registered from Latin America, USA and Europe?
At least half of the companies were mostly Latino and Colombia.
4 .- Why do people have to register your domain. CO?
